Learn about the Club’s impact on local kids, teens and families straight from the source: our Club members, parents, staff, alum, and Club Board of Directors members:

Data Driven. Outcome Oriented.

The Boys and Girls Club of La Plata County serves over 1,300 local youth each year through our After School, Great Summers and satellite outreach programs.

Each year, our members are surveyed locally on site. The survey addresses many values we hold to as an organization.  We are proud to share that our members overwhelmingly communicate the Club’s influence on their positive habits and a commitment  to Club values as follows:

The Importance of Staying In School
An overwhelming majority of the members surveyed agreed that it is extremely important to remain in school.

Leadership Skills
A majority of the surveyed members stated that since coming to the Boys & Girls Club they have gained valuable leadership skills.

Treating Others With Respect
Members who were surveyed agreed that since coming to the Club they make an effort to treat others with more respect.
