The Club@Bayfield

The Bayfield School District, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County, is excited to announce its 2022-2023 Friday enrichment program, TheClub@Bayfield.

The Boys & Girls Club On-The-Go community impact program is designed to provide fun, engaging activities for K-8th gr. The Friday program supports academic success through activities that promote character and citizenship, healthy lifestyle behaviors (active play, smart choices etc.), together with STEM, arts & crafts fun!

The Club@ Bayfield is being provided (free to families) by the Bayfield School District, Fridays from 7:30am until 4:00pm.

  • K-5th gr kids will attend the Club@Bayfield, located at the Bayfield Intermediate School (720 Oak Drive).
  • 6th-8th gr students will be bussed from the Bayfield Intermediate School to the Club (2750 Main Ave Dgo), for a more robust middle school experience, including tech lab resources (3-D Printers), arts & crafts, Durango Rec Center swim and more. Middle school students will return to the Intermediate school by 4:00pm.
  • District bus transportation will be available to/from the Intermediate School, from select pick-up and drop-off locations, pending program enrollment.

Breakfast and lunch is available for purchase from the Bayfield School District for K-5th graders. Please sign-up with the school in advance. Middle schoolers will need to pack their own lunch.
