The Club@Durango Schools

The Durango 9-R School District in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County provides the community’s premier school-based afterschool program.

The Club@Durangoschools is being offered:

Mon – Fri, from the time school is dismissed until 6:00pm.

The Club@Durangoschools afterschool program is designed to provide fun, engaging, activities for kids.

  • The Club@Durangoshools best serve students Kindergarten through third gr, kids who are excited to stay at the schools afterhours. 4th and 5th gr students can be enrolled at the school-based sites; or
  • Students 4th gr and up are welcome at the Club’s Main Ave Afterschool program (9-R bus transportation is available), where a robust schedule of age-appropriate fun awaits.

The Boys & Girls Club outcome driven program supports academic success through activities that promote character and citizenship (leadership), and healthy lifestyle behaviors (active play, smart choices, etc), together with STEM, and arts & crafts.

Space is limited, registration is required.

The Club@Durangoschools operates under the School District school-aged daycare center license.

Regular Rate $14 | Reduced Lunch Rate $11 | Free Lunch Rate $10

9-R Employees Regular Rate $12.50 | Reduced Lunch Rate $9.50 | Free Lunch Rate $8.50

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) funds through the Department of Human Services may be available to assist with afterschool program fees. Contact the Department of Human Services for application details 970/375-6150.
